Dear friends of the sound from the 80s,
in the last years we
get many mails, in which you asked for a continuation of our project.
Now we sat together, have reformed us, to produce new songs for you. And
we have find out, that your desire for it cannot be so largely. A few
hundred people of you would be sufficient to publish the third album.
That this is not possible without your support, you could verify our
whole calculation in detail. An extract from it I add here:
"Production= 16000€
Because we do everything ourselves from composition and working at the
sound to mixing and mastering. So it takes about 5 full days to finish
up one entire song, that makes at least 60 days in the studio.
Squeezer incl. material, booklet, postage, Gema = 5000€, for the time being 2000 media
Graphic and design= 2500€ (CDCover and Booklet)
Pictures= 500€
Postage and packaging= 6000€"
I`m disappointed quite personally, that you are not ready to contribute
a relatively slight support for our creative work - for a whole album
plus specials. We have already taken us so much trouble in the
preparatory phase and have gathered many ideas. So if you want this
really, seizes the last days and get moving.

As we know already, Systems In Blue didn't reach their goal with the campaign, but we have to say that since the beginning the chances for get it were very fews, we got many obstacles and we were aware about that. The initiative was started and directed by an improsived fan who despite her initial enthusiasm, could not really manage it in the right way, it was the reason that many fans were not allowed to participate, no matter how much they wanted. It is also not any secret that in the last years the fanbase for different reasons broke the contact, so we were not able to work together and support us each other, how we used to do it in the beginning. But it was also the beginning of a new time for our beloved band, because now we know our strengths and weaknesses, we got experience, and we can do it this time in a better way. We already talked with Olaf Senkbeil who seems also enthusiastic in continue this project and maybe nothing will happen the following months, but it doesn't mean SIB won't continue producing.
The SIB crowfunding was not actually any flop, it was a chance for learn and grow and now we have a new proposal that would need your help. So, in order to get our new goals, we want since here to invite to all fans, friends and followers of this sound who still dream with the third album of Systems In Blue and more songs, "Träume sterben Nie", we can't give up on it.
